Canuck for a Day, and Whatnot

I was at Epcot this weekend with my Shmoopie, celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary. Good times, people, good times. Dinner at the Germany buffet, listening to the British Invasion in the UK and…Canada. Oh, Canada. Of course, I had to prove that I actually went, so here I am. My tribute to Angela, and all our Canuck followers.

In other news, I’m super excited to be guest-posting today at Letter Go. Owllady asked me to write something about settings, which, you know, I love to talk about. Settings are tricksy, my precious. They’re either sitting silently in the background so as not to draw attention to their lameness or they’re screaming for a complete Flip This House makeover. Either way, they usually need work. So if your setting needs fixing up, head over to Owllady’s blog for a few tips.

I live in Canada, and wouldn’t trade places with anyone, unless they had a charming villa in Tuscany, or a quaint old cottage in rural Kent, England. Then I’d trade.

  2. Happy Anniversary! Epcot is the best!

  3. SQUUEEEEEEE! Robyn! I’d love to go to Ireland.

And Janet, we totally stole that from Seinfeld.

I’d love to visit Canada. As a matter of fact, when my sis-in-law found out that my blog partner was from Canada she said, “Oh! Vacation swap.” Sounds good to me 🙂

  4. 15 years! That’s awesome. And what a fun place to celebrate. How nice of you to think of your friends! 🙂

  5. Happy anniversary. Epcot is so cool! In other news, I’m headed to Ireland this summer. Can anyone say SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!??

  6. Just read your guest post. Great! That Harper Lee quote is so intimidating in its perfection, like a composer trying to emulate Bach. Still, one should learn from the best models.

  7. Austin James says:

Go Canada! It’s my favourite country in the world.

  8. Hooray for Canada! That’s awesome Becca–thanks for taking the pic. I keep telling you that we rock with out poutine and pickle-flavored chips!

  9. I’m just kind of impressed that you have a schmoopie!

  10. Happy anniversary! I love Epcot. And what a great tribute shot! Now I’m off to check out your guest post.

  11. I wish I lived in Canada. I have ever since I was 8 and we went to the World’s Fair in Vancouver.
