Wow.
And WOW, again.
Ange and I are completely blown away by the response to the #RAOKBlitz. When Angela started contacting sponsors about participating, we never dreamed they’d offer up so many awesome prizes. So thank you, Scrivener, Query Tracker, Critique Circle, AutoCrit, Writers Digest, Kristen Lamb, and Tracy Hickman, for making this a blitz to remember!
But we also want to thank all of YOU. It was nothing short of amazing, the way you all got behind this initiative and generated kindness across the web. We loved seeing so many of your friends–strangers to The Bookshelf Muse who knew nothing about our launch–post their own RAOK pages and prizes on their blogs. Seeing everyone so willing to honor others was truly beautiful to behold.
We’re not gonna lie. We’re kind of glad it’s over, lol. But we’re so incredibly glad to have done it and are thankful to everyone involved for making the blitz and our launch such a success! So THANK YOU!
Just a quick reminder, if you haven’t gotten your copy, that the Emotion Amplifiers PDF is available for free download. This companion to The Emotion Thesaurus looks at 15 specific conditions (Pain, Hunger, Thirst, Attraction, Exhaustion, etc.) that can alter a character’s physical and mental state. You can find it on the Tools For Writer’s page.
And now…let’s get back to normal. Well, somewhat normal. Ange and I are posting over at Rachael Harrie’s blog today, talking about our somewhat bumpy self-publishing journey. Please pop over and say hi!
Becca Puglisi is an international speaker, writing coach, and bestselling author of The Emotion Thesaurus and its sequels. Her books are available in five languages, are sourced by US universities, and are used by novelists, screenwriters, editors, and psychologists around the world. She is passionate about learning and sharing her knowledge with others through her Writers Helping Writers blog and via One Stop For Writers—a powerhouse online library created to help writers elevate their storytelling.

It was such a wonderful week. Congrats to the both of you for the great idea, but most especially for all your hard work and for the Emotion Thesaurus.
Cool interview over at Rachel’s blog. I think RAOK needs to be an annual event. It really made Bloglandia zing with positive vibes.
Such a fabulous week! You two rock.
This was amazing. Exhausting, but utterly amazing. 🙂 Thank you all so much for showing your RAOK spirits!

Though I didn’t take part in the RAOK, it was fun to see it sprinkled all over my Twitter account last week. I appreciated the excitement and positive attitude it sparked, so well done to everyone who did take part.
I bought your book the day it came out, and I can’t wait to use it once I dig into editing next month.
Thanks for this week and glad to have been a part of it in some small way. Thanks for the Emotion Amplifiers – I have used it already and will no doubt buy your thesaurus.
Sounds like things went stupendously. Couldn’t see it happening any other way for such a well-deserving pair of hard-working writers.
Much success with each and every endeavor.
Such an awesome week. Thank you again for uniting us all! May you sell millions of your new release. No doubt it will.
Thank you for all the fun last week! I’m off to read your guest post. 🙂
I think it was a fabulous week, but ladies, it’s not done. You’ve started something that I think will keep going for a while. 🙂

I think ROAK week was a huge success! What a wonderful way to launch your book!
Shah, I’m so sorry you’re having trouble with the attachment. I have a Mac and haven’t had problems but maybe that’s because I created the PDF. I’m on vacation for a few days but I’ll poke around a bit when I get home on Wednesday.
Congrats on a great week, and thank you for letting me be a part of it!
Congrats on a fabulous week! It was so much fun seeing RAOK posts pop up everywhere! 🙂
It has been wonderful seeing so many people join in. 🙂 Again, congratulations on your book release.
It was an AWESOME week! I just posted my last blog post for my RAOK gift.
PS – I’m having problems opening the FREE companion to the book? No idea why but my MAC won’t have it. If this is just me, sorry ;/ If not, any ideas?
It’s been a lovely week. I got my RAOK victim’s pressie to him today. He was happy!
