The bestselling Negative and Positive Trait Thesauruses have now been combined into one convenient book: The Character Trait Boxed Set. This digital file contains the original two volumes in their entirety, including the instructive how-to content and thesaurus entries—over 200 personality traits in total.
Thanks to embedded hyperlinks, writers can move from entry to entry with ease and view conflicting traits with the click of a button. Take your characterization skills to the next level and provide readers with the fresh, memorable characters they crave!
Please note this boxed set is only available through the Writers Helping Writers bookstore and ibooks. If you have a kindle or any other type of ereader, we have the book file you need. Or if you prefer the PDF format, we have that too!

Hello!
So if we’re to purchase the PDF version are we still able to use the hyperlinks and such?
Also, it seems if I pick one of the other two options, I wouldn’t be able to read it elsewhere than that specific app/device; please correct me if I’m wrong.

Hi, Cielle! The combined boxed set is basically both trait books in one file. So all of, say, the internal Positive Trait links are there, but you’ll also have links to entries in the Negative Trait Thesaurus where those occur (and vice versa). So to answer your first question, yes, the hyperlinks will work.
In terms of other purchasing options, you have two: you can buy an epub version through Apple (and use it on any device that supports epub files), or you can go directly through us and purchase an epub, mobi, or pdf file. I’m not exactly sure how it works with the Apple file, but if you buy through us, the purchased file can be accessed on whatever (multiple) devices you like.
Does this answer your questions? If not, let me know what else you need.

Is this book,”The Character Trait Boxed Set” available in book form or only as a download? The picture clearly shows two books in a box, but the only purchase options seem to be for e-books.
Please, let me know as it is much easier to work from an actual book.
Thank You, Betsy Kristl

HI Betsy,
This is just a digital option – we linked the books together so you can move from the positive one to the negative one when you’re looking for contrasting trait ideas. We currently have no print boxed sets just as the size/weight is a bigger factor for shipping.
