WRITERS HELPING WRITERS®

Helping writers become bestselling authors

Welcome to Writers Helping Writers!

October 12, 2013 by ANGELA ACKERMAN

Welcome to Writers Helping Writers, the new home of The Bookshelf Muse.  Becca and I are super pleased to finally open the doors to our new website, which we hope will be a better organized and functional home for all our writer-centric content!

Please have a poke around the toolbar to see what we have going on, like the great list of Free Writing Tools that will be added in the days ahead. And did we mention that all our Thesaurus Collections are now in one place? WHW is still under construction, so you may see a few blank holes here and there, but when we’re done, we hope this will become a true haven for writers.

Welcome, “The Bookshelf Muse”, to the Writers Helping Writers site. LOL. I just got your book, The Emotion Thesaurus PDF, some days ago and I’ve browsed over it, thoroughly, already… It’s helped me and my girlfriend a lot. Thank you very much! I’m from the Philippines and let me tell you that your book has really given me hope. To be honest, I would’ve quit writing, had it not been for your book. Really. Thank you!

Now, you have provided us here online with the Writers Helping Writers website. I really appreciate you making this site accessible to everyone on the web. And you’re also giving away your new ones—The Positive & Negative Trait Thesaurus Books—for free too! To those who’ll fortunately get at least one of these two books, I say to you, “Congratulations in advance! Please take good care of your book(s).”

If we find a link in post issue, do you have a place we should notify you? For example, in the Emotion Thesarus: Hurt (https://writershelpingwriters.net/2008/11/emotion-thesarus-entry-hurt-emotional/) the link to embarrassment is no longer correct.

Oh, there is a plugin for updating all the links in you database – all at once or approved one by one. I don’t remember the name, but it’s highly ranked.

I loved the old title, ‘Bookshelf Muse’, but the new one captures what it means to be a part of the writing community. I am often humbled by the willingness of writers – especially published ones – to share and guide other writers.
